TYREATHER ANDERSON | The Summer Item
Tyreather Anderson passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice, Spartanburg, at the age of 44.
She was born on December 28, 1977 in Sumter, to Martha J. Anderson and the late Eugene Anderson.
She was predeceased by her sister, Teneia Anderson-Boutte.
Tyreather was a member of Mount Sinai Presbyterian Church in Mayesville. She graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in Elliot with the Class of 1996. She served honorably in the Army National Guard as a Human Resources Personnel Clerk. She attended Limestone College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Management. In 2011, she graduated from the University of Phoenix with a master’s degree in liberal arts. While in Spartanburg, Tyreather worked at H&R Block as a tax advisor, youth advisor for DSS and Dollar General Distribution Center. Tyreather continued to hold various positions even with his declining health.
Tyreather leaves to cherish his precious memories and will be sadly missed by: his two sisters, Carolyn Anderson of Bronx, New York, and Towanda Anderson of Spartanburg; and two brothers, Charles (Kenya) Anderson of Elgin and Kenneth Anderson of Columbia. She was blessed with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
In accordance with COVID-19 guidelines, the family requests that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visits to the home, 112 Tucson Drive, Sumter.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St., Sumter, with Dr. Franklin Colclough, moderator, panelist.
The procession will leave the residence at 12:20 p.m.
Interment will be at Mt. Sinai Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 97 Mt. Sinai Church Road, Mayesville.
