Fortnite was supposed to have a Travis Scott emote available for purchase on Monday, but it looks like the in-game item has been retired. Publisher Epic Games did not provide a reason for the move, which came after Eight people died at the rapper’s Houston concert on Friday.
Fortnite Data Miners tweeted on Sunday that Scott’s “Out West” emote would be available for purchase Monday in the Fortnite Item Shop in its daily section for 500 V-Bucks, or around $ 5. Sunday evening, Fortnite Status Twitter Account said the daily section has been turned off and will revert to the next update, which will be Tuesday.

Epic did not immediately respond to a request for confirmation.
At Scott’s Astroworld Festival in Houston on Friday, a wave of crowds left hundreds injured and eight dead. A a criminal investigation would have started on Sunday to review what happened at the concert.
Last year Fortnite hosted a Travis Scott virtual concert in the game which had over 28 million viewers. The emote, skin, and other in-game content were released during this event.
