The resource management broker does not waste time on the acquisition strategy

UK Waste Solutions, a business-to-business broker in waste and resource management services, has unveiled its growth plans based on acquisitions.
Santander UK has provided the Nottinghamshire-based company with a five-year, multi-million, revolving credit facility to support its plans to grow sales to Â£ 100million by 2024, primarily through acquisitions.
The company aims to acquire several complementary businesses over the next five years.
UK Waste Solutions has acquired four waste management service companies over the past three years, allowing it to expand its customer base.
In October, it acquired AMA Waste Management, based in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, which UK Waste Solutions Ltd says will increase revenue by Â£ 15million per year.
Founded in 2003, UK Waste Solution operates two major brands: Novati and the new Click Waste brand, launched in September.
Novati offers sustainable resource management packages tailored to the unique needs of large, complex businesses, while Click Waste serves small and medium businesses.
As part of the UK Waste Solutions brokerage model, services are provided by third party waste management companies. Last year, it organized the collection of 154,000 tonnes of non-hazardous waste from some 6,000 customers.
Novati and Click Waste’s offering is crucial for providing waste and materials management data to its customers. As part of its services, it provides its customers with data on the volume and type of materials they dispose of, as well as the proportion that is recycled, recovered or sent to landfill.
This data enables customers to understand their impact on the environment through the waste they generate, helps them to take action to reduce it and to comply with the reporting obligations set by the authorities.
