TDRA is honored by the Society for Human Resource Management

United Arab Emirates: The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has honored the Telecommunications and Digital Government Authority (TDRA), represented in the Department of Human Resources, for the successful implementation of the Certificate of fundamental human resource practitioner, the first of its kind in the region.

The Fundamental Human Resources Practitioner Certificate program aims to develop the skills necessary to manage human executives, being the capital of any entity that seeks to achieve excellence and leadership.

The new program will develop 8 behavioral skills and 14 technical skills for participants. It aims to develop staff skills to professionally manage TDRA’s human resources. An additional project will be implemented to help carry out this program, complete the final evaluation and establish a roadmap for the Individual Development Plan (IDP).

Regarding this program, HE Mohammed Markhan Al Kitbi, Deputy Director General of TDRA for Support Services Sector, said: “Our interest in this program stems from our concern to strengthen our human cadres and improve the working environment. work to serve the objectives of TDRA to be one of the most pioneering and distinguished entities in the management of human resources. Today, we stand on the threshold of a new era characterized by new concepts, skills and abilities. In light of the rapid changes of the current era, it is necessary to possess the necessary knowledge in the field of human resource management, based on foresight and preparation for the future. The secret of our success lies in our national managers, and that is why we work to develop and nurture them so that they are better qualified for the future.

Al Kitbi added, “At TDRA, we provide a workplace that encourages employees to innovate and achieve the highest levels of productivity in an atmosphere of harmony, interaction and team spirit. TDRA motivates its employees to grow and achieve their ambitions by engaging them in specialized training programs and facilitating their connection with the best local and global skills.”

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) last year to map the scope of cooperation between the Authority and SHRM to empower the talents of the Authority and to apply the best global practices in the development of human resources skills.

The memorandum of understanding is part of the efforts made by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority to develop its human resources and achieve its national objectives. The Authority aims to equip its staff with new professional skills and to strengthen its capacity to manage projects and initiatives according to the best practices and scientific methods.
