(Nation Now/ NEXSTAR) – Taco Bell is bringing back the Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch.

For a limited time, the cheese and chips-inspired menu item is officially on participating Taco Bell menus nationwide, according to Chewing boom.

Fan favorite includes a Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos taco shell with a piece of chewy flatbread wrapped around it. A layer of cheese is melted in between. Inside the taco shell is seasoned beef, spicy ranch sauce, lettuce, cheddar, and Taco Bell’s signature three-cheese blend.

Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch won’t be on the menu forever, but even after it’s gone, customers can visit their local Taco Bell and customize an order to recreate old favorites.

A petition launched two years ago, after the item fell off the Taco Bell menu, has collected nearly 300 signatures.

However, when it comes to reintegrating abandoned Taco Bell items, there’s one whose next probably trumps all the rest: Mexican pizza.

In 2020, Mexican pizza fans went crazy on social media after the news that one of their favorites was about to disappear. According to Taco Bell, the packaging of the pizza did not match the company’s vision for the future.

It didn’t stop more than 168,000 people to support a petition to save the Taco Bell pie. So loud was the outcry that the rival chain Del Taco spotted an opening and tried to entice Taco Bell customers with his pizza-shaped Crunchtada.
