Lytho Recognized in New Marketing Resource Management Research Report

Lytho, a creative operations platform, providing tools such as creative workflow and digital asset management (DAM) to brand and creative teams, today announced that it has been recognized in a new technology research report titled, “The Forrester Wave™: Marketing Resource Management, Q3 2022” by Forrester Research.

“CMOs across all industries and types of businesses are grappling with waning influence and struggling to show that marketing is an investment, not an expense — all as the pandemic decentralizes the workforce. strains marketing operations,” Forrester analysts Jessica Liu and Katie Linford wrote. “To position marketing as a business driver and be proactive in the face of changing market conditions, marketers must incorporate stronger end-to-end planning and coordination.”

MRM software can help achieve this goal, and the report analyzes nine of the top vendors based on 33 criteria across a given vendor’s current offering, strategy, and market presence. The report recommends customers look for vendors that do the following:

  • “Focus on improving marketing performance management.”
  • “Optimize (not just organize) workflows and processes to free up time for creativity.”
  • “Integrate intra-platform and extend to the broader enterprise technology ecosystem.”

The report provides both quantitative analysis scores and qualitative written assessments on each vendor, including Lytho.

Lytho believes it stands out from other MRM vendors because it focuses solely on the needs of internal branding and creative teams. The company has observed that internal creative teams have grown and are evolve into full-fledged in-house creative agencies. However, this transformation has also brought a natural complexity that comes from managing more people, priorities, projects and processes throughout the creative lifecycle – from project receipt to measurement.

While Lytho formally announced that it had added resource management to its platform in early 2022, many features were available to existing customers at an earlier date. Indeed, the company has worked closely with more than 50 enterprise customers to beta test various features and roll out the capabilities in iterations to customers over the course of a year.
