As a lecturer, you will contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the school, in disciplines related to your area of ​​expertise. Specifically, you will be responsible for carrying out teaching activities in the undergraduate, master’s and graduate degree programs and for maintaining and advancing academic, research and/or professional capacity. You will be expected to actively promote the programs by establishing and maintaining memberships, links and partnerships with the academic, industry and professional communities.

  • PhD in Human Resource Management or equivalent relevant PhD degree.
  • Experience in teaching subjects related to HRM.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including online delivery, and the ability to produce high quality curricula or program materials.
  • Ability to take on a course coordination role and manage a varying scope of small to large programs.
  • Ability to work effectively and negotiate sensitively with students, especially on issues related to effective learning.
  • Established track record and recognition of quality research output that will contribute to existing research areas of the discipline and school, as evidenced by publications, development of new research initiatives, competitive research funding, and linkages to industry.
  • Ability to network effectively with colleagues and generate alternative funding projects through effective liaison with industry and government.
  • Recent and sustained performance in student outcomes, student experience, and feedback; combined with experience and skills in various teaching contexts.
  • Ability to work with external partners, industries, organizations and communities and can work effectively to solve complex problems or pursue opportunities

To be considered for a position at RMIT Vietnam in our School of Business and Management, you will need to be able to meet the following search criteria:

  • For applicants with a doctorate obtained more than 5 years ago: you will need to demonstrate a minimum of 4 articles from peer-reviewed journals, 2 of which must be classified as Scimago Q1 or ABDC A*/A and the others as Q2/B.
  • For applicants with a PhD obtained within the last 3-5 years: you will need to demonstrate a minimum of 2 peer-reviewed journal articles, of which 1 must be graded Q1/A and one Q2/B.
  • For applicants with a PhD awarded within the past 3 years, although there is no requirement for peer-reviewed journal articles for publication, you will need to have a strong research objective and plan research before joining RMIT Vietnam.


  • Very competitive VND salary (plus allowances) for local candidates or attractive salary package in USD (plus benefits) for expatriate candidates based on its proven track record in meeting all key selection criteria.
