LD hospital authorities refute the news “24 patients test positive for Covid-19 at LD hospital, Sgr” – The Dispatch

SRINAGAR: Authorities at the Lalla Ded government hospital in Srinagar today refuted the article “24 patients tested positive for Covid-19 at LD hospital in Srinagar” published in an English daily on December 22, 2021.
According to the statement posted here, the article was labeled as false, misinformation and it was made clear that only seven patients tested positive during routine sampling and testing, six of whom were sent to isolation at home with a view to being asymptomatic and only one was transferred for observation to a designated isolation center in this hospital because the patient was in the labor room.
Additionally, it was announced that the seven patients who tested positive were referrals from various districts in Valley.
